Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 10 June 2026

POJ Composer (“the Service”) is a free tool made available by Lí Chùn-hô (Lee Chun Hoe). By using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

POJ Composer converts numbered romanisation input into tone-marked Pe̍h-ōe-jī. It runs entirely in your browser and is free to use for personal and educational purposes.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service or attempt to disrupt, overload or interfere with its normal operation. You are responsible for the text you enter and how you use the output.

Your content

Text you type and the romanisation it produces are yours. The Service does not claim any rights over them and does not store them.

Advertising

The Service is supported by third-party advertising, provided through Google AdSense, which helps keep it free. These ads, and any sites they link to, are not controlled by the developer, who is not responsible for their content. Your use of advertised products or sites is at your own risk. See the Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are used.

No warranty

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Romanisation is generated on a best-effort basis and may not match every dialect, convention or preference. Always check important results yourself.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lee Chun Hoe shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
